Why we did it

Interior Savings Credit Union serves residents of the Okanagan region of British Columbia.  The institution competes with major national bands and, more recently, with larger provincial credit unions that have opened branches in the interior.

Growth is challenged due to low volume of new residents moving to the Okanagan, many with established relationships with larger national financial institutions. Attracting and keeping a younger membership base is also challenging as young members often leave home and the community after graduation.

How we did it

Kinetix worked with Interior Savings Credit Union’s traditional advertising agency to develop and implement an email communications program that would:

  • Position the financial expertise of the credit union through a mix of informational products and promotional offers.
  • Increase member engagement through a regular member newsletter highlighting information and resources on the Interior Saving Credit Union’s website
  • Increase adoption of segment specific services through targeted seasonal campaigns.

Use list segmenetation to ensure that campaign content and offers are relevant to the specific needs of individual members.
